Occupational Therapist

Christine graduated from the University of Connecticut with a Bachelor of Science in biological sciences degree and a Master of Science in occupational therapy degree at New England Institute of Technology. She has experience working in the school-setting and clinic serving children of varying abilities. Her specialty areas include social-emotional, fine motor, handwriting, and sensory regulation skills. She is certified in visual and vestibular assessment and treatment.

Katrina Pimentel

Occupational Therapist

Katrina is an experienced clinician who worked in the field as a COTA for several years before pursing a masters degree to become an Occupational Therapist. Her experience includes community-based settings, as well as special education, having served our public schools locally in Rhode Island, as well as in the surrounding towns of Massachusetts. Katrina moves with the innate desire to enable children of all ages and disabilities to participate in meaningful tasks by using creative play and evidence based interventions. During her free time she loves spending time with family, lounging at the beach and traveling to new places near and far.

 Haley Monaghan

Occupational Therapist

Haley graduated from Bridgewater State University with a Bachelors in Exercise Science and a Masters degree in Occupational Therapy at Baypath University. She has experience working as an ABA therapist and working with children in various settings. She began her OT journey in the SNF setting then transitioned back to working with her favorite population, pediatrics! She is growing her specialty in sensory regulation and primitive reflexes. In her free time, she loves reading, exercising, trying new coffee shops, and the beach.

Jenna Williams

Speech & Language Pathologist

Jenna graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders and a minor in Vocal Performance. She graduated with her Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C. Jenna has experience working with children of all ages and abilities in school and private practice settings. Her areas of clinical interest and experience include early language development, voice disorders, augmentative and alternative communication, speech sound disorders, and receptive and expressive language disorders. In her free time, Jenna enjoys spending time with her husband, going to the beach, singing, and doing yoga!

 Makayla Myers

Occupational Therapy Assistant

Makayla’s passion for the occupational therapy profession and helping children reach their fullest potential shines through her creative ways to make each session fun while working toward mastering each child’s individual goals. Her specialty areas include developmental milestones and progression, fine motor, feeding, emotional regulation and social skills.

Meghan graduated from New England Institute of Technology in 2015 where she earned her Associate of Science degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA). She has been a part of the MCI family since they opened in 2020. In 2023 Meghan earned her certificate as an Autism-Informed Professional. Meghan specializes in Pediatric Occupational Therapy, dedicated to helping children learn and thrive through  play based interventions and individualized treatment plans.  Her areas of expertise include working with children with a variety of developmental needs. She is passionate about fostering independence and promoting optimal development.

Occupational Therapy Assistant

Alexa is an occupational therapy assistant, working with your children not only on the physical aspects of development but also the emotional, social, and cognitive challenges. Each child is different, and her role is to help them overcome challenges that may hinder their ability to function at their best in daily activities. Whether it's improving fine motor skills for writing, enhancing sensory processing, or working on self-regulation strategies, the interventions she helps provide have a direct impact on the child's ability to engage with the world around them.

Occupational Therapy Assistant

Jenil is an Occupational Therapy Assistant who enjoys working with children of all ages. He finds fulfillment in seeing children reach their milestones, big or small, and loves forming strong bonds with them and their families. These connections lead to positive outcomes and create a supportive environment for the child's development. Outside of being an OTA, Jenil enjoys working out, cooking, watching sports, and spending time with his family.

Occupational Therapy Assistant

Mary Osmanski is an experienced pediatric Occupational Therapist Assistant in both outpatient and school settings. She works with children to accomplish their goals whether it be towards their fine motor, cognitive, emotional regulation, or sensory seeking skills. Watching a child meet a milestone whether it be big or small, always fulfills Mary. She will give the tools for their success. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and going for runs.

Occupational Therapy Assistant

Mariana graduated from New England Institute of Technology with an Associate in Health Sciences to become an Occupational Therapy Assistant. Her background with kids includes working as a camp counselor for several years where she focused on resolving conflict, team building, and creating a safe environment for all. Her specialty areas include building social emotional skills, picky eaters, and building concrete fine motor skills. She enjoys taking walks in nature, exploring new hobbies, and spending time with her animals.

Kimberly Reminton

Occupational Therapy Assistant

Kimberly is an Occupational Therapy Assistant with 17 years experience working in Early Intervention, clinic, and school settings with ages birth to 18. As a contractor for the EDIS program, she worked in the early intervention and school settings with military families at Yokota Air Force Base in Japan. She is passionate about working with children and their families to achieve their goals. Mom to 3 daughters, in her free time she loves to spend time with family, exercise, travel and enjoy all that Aquidneck Island has to offer.
